Jam Session #8

More musical musings. While I was jamming this out a few days ago, I don’t think I was intentionally trying to make it sound like anything. Listening to the recording, it reminds me of Metallica’s cover of “Free Speech for the Dumb” and Rammstein’s “Adios.” In this sample, it doesn’t include the more “Adios”-ish guitar riff. I took out that part and a couple others, so you’ll have to take my word for it, I guess.

Like most other jam sessions, it began by me playing a guitar unplugged. It started sounding cool, so I decided to record it. This time, however, it was even more hastily than usual, so the recording ending up being pretty bad. So I layered the drum track over the open-air recording that I EQ’d the crap out of, and it turned into this. Do you like it?
